Tender Description
Defence have a contracted Noise and Flight Path Monitoring System (NFPMS) at various Defence airfields to help address community concerns about aircraft noise and to meet environmental approval conditions related to the introduction and operation of certain jet aircraft at these airfields. Defence Airfields currently being monitored are RAAF Bases Amberley, Townsville and Williamtown. Data from the NFPMS is used to inform a range of periodic internal and external reporting including monthly web based public reporting.
