Tender Description
Development Victoria is seeking to engage the Design Consultant for the Kyneton Primary School Redevelopment project (Project).
The scope of the Project is the refurbishment of the old Kyneton Primary School building built in two parts: an old bluestone school (1850s) and latter day two storey component (1980s). The building, now owned by the State Government, was used as a school until 2017 and sits unused ahead of the works. The Design Consultant will be required to design for building compliance of mixed building environments and future public uses. Further details of scope and program will be included in this Tender
The procurement will be conducted via an Open Tender process with Development Victoria. The Design Consultant will need to have demonstrated experience in designing for heritage sites, as well as experience in delivering projects up to $10 million.
The successful bidder will be engaged under Development Victoria’s Consultancy Agreement (Design Services). The Local Jobs First Policy and Social Procurement Framework will apply to this procurement.
