Ad-Hoc Electrical Works Panel

⁠⁠⁠ Please provide a schedule of rates for all labour to perform the following adhoc electrical works at Carmichael Coal Mine Open Cut, and advise us on your percentage mark up for the cost of materials if required and requested to procure.

Works may include but are not limited to the following items:

• STP/WTP Compliance Upgrades which include but not limited to:
o Installation of Earth Leakage Units including injection test facilities
o Removal of redundant electrical equipment
o Installation of cable tray
o Installation of mechanical protection for some existing cabling
o Installation of lighting
o Replacement of Circuit Breakers and Installation of Lockout Facilities
o Switchboard upgrades
o Drawing mark ups and labelling of equipment
o Installation of underground conduits, cabling and external weatherproof GPO’s

• Upgrades and installation works associated with portable temporary facilities buildings and permanent building facilities;

• Electrical upgrades and testing of borefield pump systems and supply generators;

• Lightning Protection - Installation and testing of earth grids, earth stakes and associated earth cabling for various facilities around site;

• Replacement and/or upgrades to existing Light & Power Distribution Boards;

• Installation and commissioning of a replacement skid mounted booster pump system for the WTP;

• Removal of redundant electrical equipment;

• Tracing out existing cables to confirm location;

• Provide electrical labour and assistance with all cable trenching activities;

• Replacement of underground cabling LV;

• Installation of new cables and removal of any identified redundant cables;

• Complete Redline/Mark-up of drawings;

• Assist with Testing and Commissioning activities;

• Manufacture and install brackets for equipment, cable trays, switchboards, field devices, lights etc;

• Provide labour for critical planned shutdowns of STP/WTP, Camp Accommodation and Generator Facilities;

• Assist with lighting upgrades, including installation of portable and permanent poles, light fittings, cabling and switchboards etc;

• Electrical testing and maintenance activities for fixed plant, including generators;

• Develop and Submit Commissioning Packs for approval to the Electrical Engineering Manager (EEM), this includes providing all necessary ITP’s, test sheets/documentation, information and results etc. as part of a Request to Energise process to the EEM for approval; and

• Perform any other ad hoc electrical projects or electrical maintenance works that arise.
