Central Highlands Regional Council invites suitably qualified and experienced contractors to submit a quotation for the inspection, repair, testing, and recommissioning of the Solar Wise heat exchanger system located at the Blackwater Aquatic Centre.
The heating system is critical infrastructure required to maintain regulated pool temperatures for public use and aquatic programming.
The successful contractor will be required to:
• Inspect and assess the current condition of the Solar Wise heat exchanger system.
• Diagnose faults affecting system performance.
• Carry out necessary repairs to ensure all circuits are fully operational.
• Repair or replace damaged components (e.g. valves, pumps, pipework, seals, controls as required).
• Test each circuit individually and collectively to confirm correct operation.
• Commission the system and verify performance meets operational requirements.
• Provide a brief written report outlining:
- Works undertaken
- Any parts replaced
- Recommendations for future maintenance
