This program will provide financial assistance to organisations to fund schematic designs for redevelopment or new facilities, where communities conduct, organise and participate in sport and recreation.
What types of things are funded through the Facility Design Grants?
The Facility Design Grants Program 2021-2022 offers grants of up to $5000 to help organisations pay for schematic designs to redevelop their facilities, or to plan new ones.
This funding will let sporting groups with financial capacity and relevant projects to be “shovel ready” for future applications to grant programs.
Organisations whose main facilities are in the Shire are eligible to apply and it is hoped the program would improve residents’ experience of taking part in sport and recreation.
