Gannawarra Shire Council is seeking consultancy services to undertake a Shire wide Walking and Cycling Strategy.
This will drive coordinated and targeted future investment in active transport, whilst also considering future demand for active recreation and tourism opportunities within the Gannawarra Shire to develop connections and extensions that enhance the way people move around throughout our communities, while also attracting tourists and locals to explore our region.
The strategy will provide information and establish recommendations to assist the Council in ongoing development of walking and cycling through determining the community’s need, asset requirements, management and maintenance, exploring innovative opportunities, and community demand.
