Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠The ANGAU Memorial Provincial Hospital Project Delivery Office (PDO), managed by Johnstaff International Development Pty Ltd (JID) as Agent for the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, is inviting suitably experienced organisations to submit a Tender Response for the Supply, Installation, Training and Maintenance of Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FF&E) to supplement the construction of the New Enga Provincial Hospital. This procurement is part of DFAT’s commitment to health support for Papua New Guinea.

Indicative key date information
• RFT release date – 16 August 2021
• RFT briefing by video conference – 24 August 2021
• RFT close date – 14 September 2021
• Contract award – 5 November 2021
• Delivery into store (Lae) – NLT February 2022
• Installation, Commissioning and Training – February - April 2022

A total of seven packages will be released for tender:
• Pathology
• CSSD
• Medical Imaging
• Clinical Monitoring
• Clinical Furniture
• Clinical Miscellaneous
• Non-Clinical Furniture Items

The PDO will manage through local arrangements temporary storage and transportation from Lae to Mt Hagen / Enga. Suppliers will be required to coordinate with the PDO for hospital delivery and installation.

Training for Enga’s Hospital staff will be required on new FF&E as part of commissioning. An initial maintenance period of 12 months is required with options to extend.
