Tender Description
Council intends to use a panel of contractors to carry out the works as required where possible.
The contractor is to provide all necessary personnel, vehicles, plant equipment, materials, consumables and organisational support for the delivery of works and services as described in this specification. Contractor's machinery and operations are to comply with regulations enforced during a declared Fire Danger Period.
No works will be permitted on days of Total Fire Ban (TFB) as declared by the Country Fire Authority (CFA) and at other times where the Municipal Fire Prevention Officer (MFPO) deems that the fire risk at the time is unsuitable for the conduct of works. Works delayed due to consecutive TFB's will be given an extension dependent on the amount of TBF's.
