Tender Description
Naval Group Australia is seeking Expressions of Interest from Australian and New Zealand manufacturers or resellers with capability to supply Specific and Standard Springs.
Springs are used to store energy, to which the stored energy does not cause the part to experience permanent deformation.The springs are required to be of cylindrical shape, being manufactured by; wire drawing, hot rolling and cold rolling with a tumble finish.
Required spring types are:
- Compression Springs
- Traction Springs
- Torsion Springs
Compressions springs are required in sizes from 0.2 O 20 mm in the following materials:
- X10CrNi18-8 (1.4310)
- X1NiCrMoCu25-20-5 (1.4539)
- X6CrNiTi18-10 (1.4541)
- NiCr22Mo9Nb4 (2.4856)
- NiCr15Fe9 (2.4816)
- CoCr20Ni15Mo7 (2.4711)
- 45SiCrv6-2 (1.8151)
- 46SiCrMo6 (1.8062)
Traction and Torsion springs are required in sizes from 0.2 O 20 mm in the following materials:
- X10CrNi18-8 (1.4310)
- X1NiCrMoCu25-20-5 (1.4539)
- X6CrNiTi18-10 (1.4541)
- NiCr22Mo9Nb4 (2.4856)
- NiCr15Fe9 (2.4816)
Documentation required for acceptance includes but it is not limited to: Manufacturing Process Plan, Inspection Reports, Test Reports, Dimensional Reports, 3.1 Material Certificate, and Certificate of Conformance.
