Maroondah Federation Estate Gallery - call for applications

⁠⁠⁠We are inviting exhibition proposals from artists, curators and community-based arts groups to exhibit at the Maroondah Federation Estate Gallery in 2022.

Located within the community and cultural centre at Maroondah Federation Estate in Ringwood, Maroondah Federation Estate Gallery aims to engage audiences through a vibrant and diverse exhibition program that promotes both traditional and contemporary arts practice.

Applications for the 2022 exhibition program is open to emerging and established artists as well as local arts and cultural groups. We encourage a broad range of contemporary and traditional visual arts practice across painting, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, drawing, photography, video, design, jewellery, installation as well as scope for performance and multi-media artworks. Exhibitions run for approximately 7 weeks.

Local Artist Initiative
We are offering one free exhibition to a local artist or group living and/or working in the City of Maroondah as part of our Local Artist Initiative. Launched for the first time in 2019, this initiative aims to support and foster our local artists and to showcase the talents of our artistic community. The selected artist or group will be invited to exhibit in our Gallery 2 space adjacent to Gallery 1 — simply tick the ‘local artist’ box in the application form to apply!
