The Northern Territory (NT) Government is seeking interest in the development of a new luxury accommodation offering at the southern end of the Darwin Waterfront.
The registrations of interest are now open.
This is the precursor to a competitive process to identify the market interest in developing and operating a luxury accommodation offering in Darwin.

The NT Government invites experienced proponents with the ability to develop, finance and operate a luxury accommodation offering to register their interest in this exciting opportunity.
The NT Government has land at the Darwin Waterfront Precinct which it considers a prime location for a new luxury accommodation offering. With lush parklands, swimming lagoons, upmarket retail and commercial, and a variety of accommodation and dining options, the precinct is a great way to experience Darwin’s tropical lifestyle. The new luxury accommodation offering must integrate with and complement the development of the precinct.
Interested proponents are welcome to nominate alternate privately owned sites which they believe would be suitable for a luxury accommodation offering in Darwin.
The NT Government has previously committed to contributing towards public infrastructure elements that enhance connectivity with the CBD and integrate with the Darwin Waterfront Precinct.
The NT Government does not expect to provide capital or ongoing support to any luxury accommodation development.
