Tender Description
Gippsland PHN is seeking support from suitably experienced organisations to provide educational support and resources to assist with the delivery of drug and alcohol training to the primary health care sector in Gippsland.
Suitably qualified and experienced organisations are invited to submit a proposal that meets the following Procurement Objectives:
1. Provide support to General Practitioners (GPs) and other health professionals in Gippsland to build the capacity of the health workforce to deliver high quality care for clients with drug and alcohol issues;
2. Assist GPs and other health professionals in Gippsland to enhance their knowledge and application of alcohol and other drug addiction referral pathways, supporting improved access to drug and alcohol treatment; and
3. Increase awareness of and support GPs in Gippsland in using the range of evidence-based resources available to improve drug and alcohol addiction treatment.
Gippsland PHN's total budget for this procurement, including all related expenditure, is $100,000 (ex. GST).
The contract between the successful applicant and Gippsland PHN is expected to commence in September 2021 and be completed by 30 June 2022.
