Tender Description
The United States Government (USG) has a requirement for SIP Digital Trunk Services. The Contractor shall furnish all engineering, labor, tools, equipment, materials, supplies and services to provide the required services.
The Contractor shall be responsible for the professional quality, technical accuracy, and the coordination of all services and equipment furnished under this contract. The prices listed below shall include all labor, materials, insurance, overhead, and profit. The Government will pay the Contractor monthly for Services that have been satisfactorily performed.
Scope Description:
1. The contractor to provide SIP Digital Trunk services to include.
(a) 40 SIP Trunks
(b) 500 Direct Inward Dial (DID) numbers.
(c) Inbound/Outbound Calling.
2. SIP Trunk Services must be able to connect to legacy E1 service and then cross connect to the Embassy’s PBX E1 equipment
3. The industry standard for PBX trunk services has migrated from legacy E1 digital trunk services to Session Initiated Protocol Voice over Internet Protocol trunks, referred to as SIP trunks.
4. The transport for legacy E1 digital trunk services are four wires (two pairs) per E1 circuit. The four wires are cross connected directly to the PBX E1 equipment. Equipment to be provided and installed by the service provider on the customer premise for connecting SIP trunks to the customers PBX E1 network. The SIP trunks to be matched, one for one, on the E1 circuit, with a maximum of 30 trunks per E1.
5. Additional requirement: Provide the ability to allow an incoming call to be transferred (via PBX) to an external number on second trunk (a desk phone number to a mobile number).
6. Direct Inward Dialing (DID) Number Services, a range of public telephone numbers assigned to the Embassy SIP Trunks. These numbers are paired with Embassy user telephones and include our main published telephone numbers. Porting of current phone numbers, as required.
7. Inbound and Outbound Calling Services, these services allow for calls to be made and received from local, long distance, cellular, or international telephone numbers.
8. The Contractor shall ensure that the connection through its network is of the highest quality possible and shall be uninterrupted, clear, and with no static. Network problems shall be remedied immediately, and the Embassy must be immediately informed of any problems and their resolution.
