Tender Description
The AFRM Trainee Committee seeks rehabilitation medicine trainees from NSW/ACT and WA to join the Committee.
To balance geographical representation, positions are open for NSW/ACT and WA trainee representatives.
The Committee represents the interests of AFRM trainees and:
- provides a forum for the views of all trainees
- advocates on behalf of trainees for their selection, training, assessment, supervision and overall education experience
- makes recommendations about training policies
- liaises with state, territory and Aotearoa New Zealand branch committees
- liaises with trainee representatives on the College Trainees’ Committee
- recommends new initiatives to support trainees and their training experience to the Faculty body
The representatives will sit on the AFRM Trainee Committee and the respective AFRM Regional Committee in NSW/ACT and WA.
The Committee holds 1 face-to-face meeting in Sydney and 3 videoconferences a year.
The College meets the travel costs of Committee members. For more information, see:
