South West Healthcare (SWH) invites tenders for the provision of Architectural Design & Project Management Services (‘the Services’) in accordance with the requirements of this RFT.
In the first phase the appointed consultant will make a significant contribution to the establishment of five (5) new mental health beds within the current mental health facility located in Warrnambool, Victoria. The project will be a refurbishment of current areas to increase inpatient beds from 15 to 20 and improve the general layout, flow and amenity of the acute mental health unit.
In the second phase the the appointed consultant will provide various services associated with the subsequent tender for construction services and the build phase of the project. This will include developing technical documentation for tender, including following up and co-ordinating sub-consultants, and managing the building construction contractor (to be appointed by SWH) and act as the Principal’s appointed Superintendent to that contract.
Please Note: As part of this tender, all bidders must prepare a “Short Form” Local Industry Development Plan (LIDP) in accordance with the Local Job First Policy and Guidelines.
