Whitsunday Regional Council (Council) is seeking a ticketing solution including ongoing updates, associated hardware and support services. The new ticketing solution will allow Council’s residents and visitors to purchase tickets to not only the Proserpine Entertainment Centre, but also to external events, online, over the phone and in-person.
The Proserpine Entertainment Centre (PEC) is currently being rebuilt after suffering catastrophic damage in a cyclone in 2017. The previous building has been demolished and construction is well underway to be completed by the end of 2021. Featuring a retractable seating bank of 380 and flat floor capacity of approximately 500, this versatile performance space will host events and performances of many different types and of different scales, servicing the wider Whitsunday community.
