Council is looking for a creative Communication Consultant that has a well-developed understanding of the Yarriambiack Shire Community and the Wimmera-Mallee Region.
The Consultant will be required to undertake the following tasks:
- Develop and distribute weekly newspaper articles on behalf of Council
- Consult, develop and distribute all print advertising and media releases
- Manage Council’s social media accounts (ie Facebook and LinkedIn)
- Develop Council’s Corporate Style Guide and supporting documentation
- Oversee the management and distribution of Council’s Community and Business Directory
- Develop Council’s branding materials and ensure consistent usage across the organisation
- Manage Council’s website content
- Develop corporate strategy and plan designs
- Provide advice to the Extended Leadership Team on Community Engagement strategies to enhance messaging and entice feedback across the Community.
The successful invitee will be required to:
Work between 8 hours and 15 hours per week
Attend weekly online meetings with Council representatives
By agreement, attend meetings in the Warracknabeal Corporate Office as required
Council will supply the successful invitee with a laptop computer and applicable design software licences as required to perform the role.
