Overview
The Rural City of Wangaratta (RCoW) is seeking suitably qualified consultants for the completion of the detailed design, for the construction of a shared path extending the existing One Mile Creek trail from the western end of Wenhams Lane to the Milawa Rail Trail on Murdoch Road.
Council’s Walking and Cycling Strategy 2020-2030 has identified this path as a high priority project.
There are two sections of shared path to be constructed following the alignment existing gravel or unformed dirt tracks: one through a path easement between 81 and 95 Wenhams Lane, and the other through the Wenhams Lane Reserve and Targoora Park. They are separated by an existing 180m concrete shared path behind Murilla Crescent.
