The Ministry of Social Development Auckland Region is aiming to release a tender for Driver Licence Programme within the next two weeks.
A bit about us
The Ministry of Social Development’s goals include achieving sustainable employment, social connectedness, and inclusion for New Zealanders. The Ministry manages contracts with a variety of entities to assist in improving employment opportunities and outcomes for people with a range of needs.
What we need
The Driver Licence Programme will be looking for organisations that can support people to attain their learner driver licence or move to the next stage of their licence, improve their driving behaviour, increase road safety awareness, improve whānau independence and maximise job opportunities.
We will be looking for providers who can:
- Show proven experience in delivering driver licence programmes or can show they have the capability and capacity to deliver a successful driver licence programme.
- Deliver a driver licence programme in the Auckland region or specific areas in the Auckland Region, that encompasses from Te Hana through to Meremere.
What we don’t want
The Ministry of Social Development Auckland Region will not be seeking:
- Proposals for programmes that teach people with no or limited driving experience how to drive
- Proposals for programme outside the Auckland Region.
