Tender Description
To ensure compliance with our Essential Safety Measures as a building owner, and our WorkSafe obligations as an employer, the Alpine Shire is seeking quotations from competent and experienced contractors to perform the necessary inspections on the fire extinguishers, fire blankets, hose reels and alarms located in their premises as required by the Building Code of Australia and AS 1851-2012. and for the safe operation of plant and equipment.
In addition to the operational maintenance checks, we also require the inspections to verify that equipment is correctly located, installed, accessible, and that the required signage and operating instructions are correctly located and visible.
The Contract period is to be three (3) years commencing 1 July 2021.
