This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
The Department is seeking to engage a Geospatial Analyst to support the delivery of a number of departmental geospatial services.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with ArcGIS applications and services in an Australian Federal Government (or equivalent) context.
The successful candidate will be required to support the department’s ArcGIS portal, develop and present proof of concept solutions for clients, undertake support and maintenance activities across a range of ArcGIS applications, and be required to provide professional advice on system knowledge, services and capabilities.
Other responsibilities include;
• As part of a team, work collaboratively to design new components or enhancements to existing functions and systems;
• Develop business solutions based on information gathered through engagement activities;
• Working closely with business areas to gain a detailed understanding of business needs;
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and service providers to determine high level requirements;
• Document current and future state capabilities;
• Produce relevant documentation applicable to delivering business outcomes;
• Provide detailed technical and professional advice in relation to complex problems, including presentations and walk-throughs; and
• When required support testing activities for newly designed solutions.
