Overview
The Australian Centre for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) is seeking a supplier to undertake emergent website and Research Portal work for the 2026-27 period, covering ongoing maintenance and urgent enhancements to its Drupal-based web environment.
About
ACIAR maintains a Drupal-based web environment comprising the ACIAR corporate website and the ACIAR Research Portal. These platforms require ongoing maintenance and occasional urgent enhancements to ensure operational continuity, security, accessibility compliance and responsiveness to emerging business needs.
Purpose
This procurement is required to ensure ACIAR can respond promptly and efficiently to emergent and unplanned development requirements on the ACIAR website and Research Portal that arise during the contract period.
Scope
The scope includes:
- Urgent fixes to the ACIAR website and Research Portal
- Functional updates to the ACIAR website and Research Portal
- User experience improvements
- Accessibility or compliance remediation
- System adjustments driven by operational needs, stakeholder feedback, policy changes or external dependencies
These tasks are intermittent and variable, with periods of low usage followed by short bursts of intensive activity.
