The City of Parramatta Council is located 24 kilometres west of the Sydney CBD and provides a range of goods and services within a local government area (LGA) encompassing some 82 square kilometres and comprises a population of approximately 230,000 people from a range of diverse cultures, lifestyles and experiences
ABOUT THE TENDER:
The City of Parramatta Council proposes to upgrade Traffic Control Signal on Parramatta Road at Marsh Street intersection in CLYDE.
Council is inviting Tenders from experienced Civil Engineering contractors, having expertise in traffic control signal works, to implement the project.
The scope of work includes:
- Upgrade of Traffic Control Signals at the intersection necessary for introducing a signalised pedestrian crossing on Paramatta Road west of Marsh Street.
- Upgrade of drainage Pits as specified.
- Construction of Kerb & Gutter, shared path and driveways.
- Linemarkings, signposting and asphalt resheeting of the road pavement.
A final decision will be made regarding this Tender in late July 2021, with works anticipated to commence August 2021. The Tender price is for a fixed lump sum.
No pre-tender meeting is proposed, however it is recommended that prospective Tenderers visit the project site to confirm 'scope of work'.
