This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
Senior Engineers will be responsible for the management and maintenance and new development of technical solutions for BAU and project activities both physical and cloud.
The department has various roles within the Server, Infrastructure and Cloud teams.
The department’s current hardware, storage and virtual infrastructure is primarily based on HPe, 3PAR, NetApp and VMware. Successful candidates will provide important guidance in the ongoing IT Infrastructure of the department and the strategy to maintain this moving forward.
Cloud:
The department is seeking to engage an experienced Cloud Engineer with Azure, Office365 and Hybrid Cloud experience. They will be required to co-design cloud strategies, develop architecture and designs and lead teams in the execution of cloud services.
The Cloud Engineer is responsible for ensuring cloud services are implemented in accordance with Government and IT policies and frameworks.
We are seeking an Engineer professional who principally has specialist skills in Azure and Cloud Services.
The candidate will be highly experienced and able to work autonomously with limited guidance. Kay deliverables may include the following:
• Developing cloud solution roadmaps;
• Gathering business and technical requirements for cloud solutions;
• Developing cloud strategy and design documentation;
• Providing design review and technical governance;
• Building and maintaining cloud services including Microsoft Azure and Office 365;
• Cloud migrations from datacenter facilities;
• Delivering automated solutions; and
• Creating cloud patterns and templates.
