This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
As part of the Information Security team within Innovation & Technology Solutions, this role will work closely with the Information Security Adviser and other members of the Information Security, and Infrastructure teams to ensure delivery of a broad range of Information Security outcomes.
The Information Security Team works collaboratively to ensure AUSTRAC’s information remains secure. It delivers compliance with the Information Security aspects of the government Protective Security Policy Framework and a range of Information Security advisory services to AUSTRAC businesses.
The Information Security Engineer, under general supervision is responsible for:
• Security management and advice for agency-wide use of cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS)
• Completion of Information Security Risk Assessments for new systems and processes
• Implementation and oversight of Risk Management processes for assurance of security controls, vulnerabilities, security testing
• Liaison with the Infrastructure teams to address cyber security issues and concerns
• Provide oversite of security aspects of cloud services uptake
The Information Security Risk Manager role is part of an expanding team led by the Information Security Adviser (ITSA) and accountable to the Information Security Executive (CISO/CIO) and the Chief Security Officer (CSO).
