Warrnambool City Council is seeking quotations for the construction of the Garden Street Pedestrian Crossing.
Warrnambool City Council has been successful in the Application of TAC’s Local Government Grant Program: Towards Zero Strategy and Action Plan 2016-2020.
Traffic calming infrastructure which reduces traffic speed, improves driver behaviour and reduces risk of pedestrians and cyclists crossing the road. Partnership approach to improving road safety around schools; providing evidence to the wider community of the benefits of slower speeds and facilities which reduce risk to pedestrians when crossing the road.
The Scope of Works includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Public Notifications, including letter drops and project signage
- Supervision of Works and external sub-contractors
- Construction of Asphalt Wombat Hump
- Supply and Installation of associated public lighting works
- Kerb & Channel Works
- Drainage Works
- Footpath Works
- Line marking & Signage
