Tender Description
The Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) wishes to engage a suitably skilled, experienced, and reputable supplier(s) of backpacks and hydration Packs. The backpack and hydration packs must be suitable for use by Fire Fighters in rugged terrain and harsh conditions. The backpacks & hydration packs will need to meet some non-negotiable requirements that will be released with the official tender in late May / early June. Tenderers will have the opportunity to respond to either the backpack component, hydration pack component, or both.
It is intended that the Department will purchase around 400 backpacks and 400 hydration packs annually. Please note that these are only indicative quantities and they can vary drastically depending on the severity of each fire season.
A tender briefing will be conducted during the tender response period. Tenderers will have the opportunity to ask any questions and seek clarification around the tender response.
