Tender Description
Onsite works:
Provide 1 year structural inspections of balanced machines (stackers, reclaimers, shiploaders), this includes use of EWP to inspect areas not accessible from walkways & confined space to inspect interals of machine. Structural inspection is to identify defects that may lead to a partial or full collapse of the machine.
Offsite works:
Carry out engineering of the inspected machine on a 3 yearly basis. This would include:
3Y - Engineering Inspection
Determine the machine’s non-conformances in relation to the design requirements of the latest recognised Standards, its machine design and current best industry practice.
Audit the balanced machine’s operational status against the applicable design standard and conclude if the machine is safe to operate and compliant with AS4324.1-1995. For machines designed prior to 1995 ensure the relevant Standard(s) is considered.
6Y - Plant Integrity Review
Same as above for 3Y, but also includes fatigue assessment and assign a projected working life to the machine
