Swan Hill Aerodrome Terminal Building Upgrade

⁠⁠⁠Swan Hill Rural City Council has commenced upgrading works around the Swan Hill Aerodrome in anticipation of attracting more users to the facility. As part of the overall masterplan, Council seeks to upgrade the appearance and internal facilities to the Aerodrome’s Terminal Building and invite suitably qualified Builders and associated trades people to tender for the works.

Evaluation Criteria is as follows:

Price: Tender will be evaluated based on best value. Best value is determined by the overall score received from the evaluation criteria below in comparison to the price.

The RFQ will be evaluated on the follow criteria:

Compliance with Specification (30%)

Note: The tenderer's response must address all the requirements outlined in the specification document. Evaluation will be based on how well the requirements have been addressed.

Social & Economic Benefit to the Swan Hill Municipality (20%)

Note1: The tenderer's response should include as much information about how the local economy will benefit. e.g. engaging local staff, sub-contractors, suppliers of material, contribute to the community / local sporting clubs in the form of donations or free services, booking accommodation for staff to stay over while the project is under way, supporting local businesses while the contract is under way etc.

Track Record (30%)

Note1: The tenderer's response should note if they have completed work for Council before including detail of the project , provide information about the number and details of the same or similar projects they have completed previously and details of contactable references from previous projects (where possible reference letters)

Availability of Appropriate Skills & Resources (20%)

Note1: Tendererer's needs to provide satisfactory evidences to prove they have appropriate skills and resources to accomplish the project satisfactorily. Evidence can include a short profile of the staff/contractors to be involved with the project and their experience/skills.
