Tender Description
• Provide safety documents for duration of construction – Risk Assessments, Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), Insurances, Employees/ Sub-contractors licences, Safety Management Systems.
• Complete Broken Hill City Council (BHCC) inductions and provide Covid-19 Declaration form (including temperature test) at start of project and for any new employees/ sub-contractors coming to site after project start.
• Site security during construction – Site must be separated from the general public and general works being conducted in the area. E.g. Security fencing or barricades.
• Earthworks to ensure stable and secure base for water tanks to be situated. Any aggregate or fill needed is to be supplied by the contractor.
• Allowance of dust suppression measures during construction.
• Supply and Installation 2x 50,000 litre water storage tanks.
• Electric pressure pump capable of feeding water from tanks to a water tanker.
• Camlock and Storz couplings/ fittings capable of fitting a standard water tanker and NSW Fire Truck. Specific Information needed.
• Connection to existing internal water mains.
• Installation of automatic cut off valve for water tank level.
• Installation of visual water level gauge to ensure tank level.
• Permanent security around site to ensure vehicles cannot collide with asset.
• Ability for water tanks to be filled by a water tanker if needed.
• Safety Documentation for pump and connections use – Including (not limited to) Risk Assessment, SWMS and operator’s manual.
• Completion of work to be within 35 working days of awarding purchase order.
