School Upgrades 2018/19 Diamond Valley College– Late Works Package (Minor Works) – CONSTRUCTION WORKS

⁠⁠⁠Project Summary

The Victorian School Building Authority is intending to release a Request for Tender in April 2021 for the construction of minor works to the administration, technology and science buildings at Diamond Valley College located at Diamond Creek to complete the stage two capital works. The project will include:

SCIENCE BUILDING

Supply and install blinds throughout the building including to internal windows (note that the wiring is installed for these), HELIOSCREEN:

• Blockout (brownout) to physics room
• Translucent white to all other windows

TECHNOLOGY BUILDING

• Remove and replace asbestos lining to east soffit (the remaining asbestos has been removed)
• Refurbish toilets and replace fittings and fixtures
• Replace carpet as noted on plan
• Paint finish throughout
• Replace pinboards throughout
• Replace lighting to interior corridor only

ADMINISTRATION BUILDING

• Refurbish main toilet blocks to ground and first floor and replace fittings and fixtures

The project will require construction of the works outlined above in accordance with the tender documents provided.

All respondents will need to have a current CSR Registration under the category New Commercial Construction Prequalification level amount no less than $1,000,000

A separate Request for Tender (RFT) will be issued. It is expected that approximately four tenderers will be invited. The VSBA will make a decision on which firms are to be invited to submit a tender, based on the firm’s experience, capability and capacity to undertake the work in the required timeframe, and past performance.
