Wellington NYE EOIs

⁠⁠⁠Following a hiatus of some 30 years, the annual Dubbo New Year's Eve event was established in 2014 by a team of volunteers. With the support of Dubbo Regional Council the event was held at Apex Oval until 2019, when the baton was passed to the Dubbo Show Society. The event is now held at the Dubbo Showground thanks to the hard work of Show Society members and the financial backing of corporate sponsors.

At the moment there is not a community event held in Wellington to celebrate the new year and after a Mayoral Minute was passed to address this, Council would like to invite individuals and organisations based in Wellington to express an interest in creating what will be Wellington's inaugural new year's eve celebrations.
