Bayside City Council invites expression of interest from suitably qualified persons for appointment to Council's Audit and Risk Committee for a period of 3 years.
The Audit and Risk Committee meets a minimum of five times per year. The current renumeration is $1,607 per meeting.
The Audit and Risk Committee operates in accordance with Section 53 of the Local Government Act 2020.
A background and qualifications in Public Sector Management, Accounting, Finandial Management or Risk Management would be advantageous.
Applications will be assessed against the following criteria:
- level and breadth of senior business, management, finance,and accounting and audit experience.
- level of familiarity in relation to local government operations, financial reporting, auditing requirements, risk management and corporate governance.
- previous Audit Committee experience.
