Tender Description
Funding of up to $10 000 is available for events and activities taking place between 1 July 2021 and 31 December 2021 that align with the program’s objectives below.
The program's objectives are:
- deliver high quality activities that enrich and promote international student wellbeing
- increase international students’ social connections and belonging to the Territory
- increase employment opportunities for international students while studying and for graduates on a post-study working visa
- increase community understanding of the benefits and value international students bring to the Territory, including economic, social and cultural contributions
- provide tools and strategies for international students to manage mental health and physical safety.
The International Student Wellbeing Grant Program has been established by the Northern Territory Government through StudyNT to enhance the wellbeing of international students studying in the Territory.
StudyNT works with education providers, and the business and local communities to welcome international students to achieve academic success and discover new pathways to their future in Australia’s Northern Territory.
