FOR STATUS INFORMATION ONLY - FURTHER INDUSTRY UPDATE AS AT 14/72022 – ON THE CURRENT 'ITS' PROCESS
Note: there is no briefing session to be held in relation to this update, please read this important update as follows.
Tendering suppliers (respondents) for the Head Contracts, as well as existing sub-contractors, potential new sub-contractors and product suppliers are notified the following as an update for the ‘Head Contractors for Maintenance Services’ (HCMS) Invitation to Supply (ITS) tender that was released on 16 June 2021 and closed on 1 September 2021:
- the procurement is still undergoing the evaluation process by the SA Housing Authority; and
- it is anticipated that selection and award of the six contract areas to the successful Head Contractors should occur in the next two months.
- the commencement of maintenance services under the new contracts by the new successful head contractors, remains targeted as from 1 January 2023 (which follows a contracted period of transition-in).
- until ‘transition-in’ is complete, existing head contractors of the Multi-Trade contracts will continue providing maintenance services.
