Alexandrina Council is inviting tenders for the provision of professional services to design and construct the changerooms at Port Elliot Oval, 60 North Terrace Port Elliot SA 5212.
The project contains of three major elements:
- Refurbishment of the existing two changerooms with the addition to the rear of two wet areas with showers, toilets and basins in each.
- A new stand-alone building with two changerooms, two wet areas (two showers, toilets and basins in each) a medical room and an Umpires room.
- The existing asbestos roof will be replaced and a continuous roof joining the new and existing buildings together.
The redevelopment of the changerooms at Port Elliot Oval will be key to bringing female friendly, contemporary and universally accessible amenities for the long-term benefit of all users.
The maximum budget is $1.5M (One million and five hundred thousand) (Ex GST) for the entire project including detailed design and all services and construction.
The contractor must allow for all demolition, design, temporary and construction services, and Council will enter into an Agreement for these Services with the successful Tenderer.
The project must achieve Practical Completion no later than 30th September 2027.
