Construction Services - Main Construction Contractor:Taupo Airport Redevelopment

In 2020, Taupo District Council (TDC) and the Taupo Airport Authority (TAA) confirmed funding for the redevelopment of the Taupo Airport terminal and parking area. There has been a growing requirement for the terminal to be upgraded and regardless of the current COVID-19 situation, the requirement remains.

TDC, with the support of Central Government have initiated an airport redevelopment project that is cost effective and fit for purpose for the long term.

As a result, the project design process commenced in late 2020 and is currently at a detailed design stage. As the design is finalised and approved, TDC wish to engage with the market to identify its preferred Main Construction Contractors.

This procurement relates to the Main Contractor - commercial building construction services.
