Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Overview

The Ministry of Education (NZ) is seeking a Main Contractor to deliver the full scope of the Block A Refurbishment works, including enabling works, at Te Kura Kaupapa Māori o Te Orini ki Ngāti Awa.

Scope

The Contract Works required are:

  • Demolition and making good, including associated electrical and data works suitable for temporary admin accommodation
  • Recladding and re-roofing
  • Internal alterations and fit-out, including new internal partitions, relocation of the kitchenette, and new wall, floor and ceiling finishes
  • Upgrade of building services to suit the new layout, including electrical, data, HVAC and hydraulic services
  • Upgrade to a Type 4 Fire Alarm System, integration with the sitewide fire alarm system, including the Fire Brigade Connection
  • External works, including replacement of decking boards, construction of a retaining wall, drainage, carpark works, and making good of the existing driveway
  • Refurbishment of the adjacent toilet block
  • Removal of asbestos, as may be required
