UC is seeking a suitably experienced contractor to undertake the delivery of Construction Services for the Building 17 Hazardous Chemicals & Dangerous Goods Bulk Storage Upgrade.
Building 17 is over 25 years old and does not meet the current Building Code or Australian Standards. It is proposed that an upgrade is undertaken to create a refurbished HCDG Bulk Stores that will be managed by Campus Estate's HazChem team as the 'Central Authority' for the supply, storage, distribution and disposal of all chemicals, dangerous goods, waste products and research samples at the University. Building 17 is the current Hazardous Chemicals & Dangerous Goods Bulk Storage facility that requires an upgrade to meet legislative standards.
The project is to be programmed in the period of March 2021 to June 2021, with the proposed Completion Date for the project being Mid-June 2021.
