ABOUT THE COUNCIL:
The City of Parramatta Council is located 24 kilometres west of the Sydney CBD and provides a range of goods and services within a local government area (LGA) encompassing some 82 square kilometres and comprises a population of approximately 230,000 people from a range of diverse cultures, lifestyles and experiences
ABOUT THE TENDER:
The City is seeking to simplify and streamline these arrangements by establishing a consolidated framework that brings together security service requirements to supplement and support its internal capability. Previously, the City has sought to meet its needs in these categories through a combination of pre-established contracts and ad-hoc request for quotes (RFQs). In order to better obtain value for the City, and to offer security to a smaller number of chosen suppliers, the City has elected to establish a number of panels in the following security services:
The security services panel will be managed directly by the City Safety and Security Unit in accordance with Council Procurement Policy.
The Panel Arrangement covers the following areas:
· VSS INSTALLATION
· VSS MAINTENANCE
· VSS OPERATION AND MONITORING
· RAPID DEPLOYMENT CAMERA INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE
· FIBRE OPTIC CABLE INSTALLATION, REPAIR AND TESTING
· ELECTRONIC SECURITY SYSTEM INSTALLATION
· ELECTRONIC SECURITY SYSTEM MAINTENANCE
· SECURITY GUARDING, PATROL & RESPONSE SERVICES
