Scope of work

Dampier Salt Limited requires a contractor to perform smaller scale and consistent structural integrity repairs and refurbishment of fixed plant assets (including conveyors, stackers, shiploaders, washplants, hoppers and bins) across its three operating site - Port Hedland, Dampier and Lake Macleod (Carnarvon).

This scope includes -

• scaffolding,
• abrasive blasting and painting,
• welding and weld repairs,
• replacement of structure; walkways, handrails and staircases, as well as structural beams and members

Equipment and materials

This scope includes the supply of all required materials and equipment for the above works by the contractor.

Duration of work

The Company intends to engage the Contractor to provide this service on an ongoing basis, by deploying a consistent crew on a regular roster, with the flexibility to work across the three DSL sites (Port Hedland, Lake MacLeod and Dampier).

The Company expects the Contractor to be flexible on the required roster, which may change depending on operations, shutdowns, travel and accommodation availability. The Company intends for the roster arrangement to be as consistent as possible, with a strong preference for working day shift only. Personnel will need to work in alignment with Iron Ore Fatigue Management guidelines.

The Company expects to engage the contractor on an ongoing basis from Q1 2021 (Feb/March) until Q4 2021 (Nov/Dec).
