This Tender is invited by the Issuer.
This procurement is part of a larger program of work to be released by the CER in early 2021 to establish a new Agile Release Train (working under the Scaled Agile Framework). Please be mindful when responding to this procurement how these resources will complement your overall response.
The Clean Energy Regulator requires two Service Designers. The roles will be advertised together, but the CER may elect to only choose one person from any single vendor. A Service Designer will work with and regularly engage with technical staff, business representatives and external stakeholders in order to understand, record, and clarify how the CER provides a service (including the end-to-end journey, including the people, processes, information and technology involved).
The Service Designer will look for, recommend and plan opportunities for improvements to the service offering, understanding the limits, risks and processes involved in the current or proposed future service. The Service Designer will provide coordination between business and IT to convey and implement current and future services. The Service Designer may, at a later point, take on the functions of a Product Owner for a delivery team working within an Agile Release Train, working with business areas to implement solutions that meet user needs (whilst simultaneously performing some Service Design responsibilities).
