Tender Description
At the time of publishing this invitation to register an interest, the Works for construction of a 220kV transmission line (of an approximate length of 97km, consisting of 300 structures), including:
- transportation of Principal supplied materials to the Work Fronts (namely poles and conductors);
- supply and installation of all other associated equipment (e.g. not Principal free-issued) to complete the Works; and
- supply of all required construction and installation personnel, machinery, plant, vehicles and all necessary tools, consumables and supplies necessary to complete the field installation in accordance with the Project
Specifications, including:
o assembly and installation of the transmission pole structures;
o stringing of the conductors and the OPGW;
o splicing of the OPGW and breakout of fibre’s as per the nominated design;
o supply and installation of all earthing requirements along the line alignment; and
o construction Verification and relevant QA
- Australian Standards apply.
