Knoxfield - Landscape Architect Consultancy Service

⁠⁠⁠Development Victoria intends to release a Request for Proposal (RFP) seeking the services of a suitably qualified and experienced Landscape Architecture Consultant for a new residential development in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. The specific subdivision is currently expected to consist of approximately 440 townhouses, with a diverse product offering.

The Consultant will be responsible for design development and documentation of landscaping components of the development and will be required to assist the project team with tendering and supervision of landscape works.

The successful bidder will be required to demonstrate capability through experience in the following areas:

• Medium to large scale residential subdivisions, inclusive of streetscapes, parks and open space design
• Completed projects inclusive of landscape works exceeding $5M
• Complex ecological projects such as creeks, wetlands, lakes etc
• Understanding of issues associated with urban infill projects
• Working effectively and collaboratively with consultants, authorities and Government stakeholders

The RFP will be released via a selective tender process, with bidders selected from the Victorian Construction Supplier Register. The tender is anticipated to be available through the Buying for Victoria Supplier Portal by mid to late January 2020. The successful contractor will be engaged under the Development Victoria Consultancy Agreement (Major Services).
