Hindmarsh Shire Council is inviting interested residents to submit an expression of interest for the vacant position of Community Representative on the Municipal Emergency Management Planning Committee (MEMPC) for a term of up to two-years.
The role of the MEMPC is to prepare the Municipal Emergency Management Plan for Hindmarsh Shire.
Ideally the person will have an understanding of the Victorian Emergency Management arrangements, have sound community links and be prepare to attend a minimum of four meetings per year.
Expressions of interest should include a one-page statement outlining the applicants's interest in the position and attributes they would bring to the role.
Expressions of interest close at 12 noon on Wednesday 23 December, 2020 and should be addressed to the Municipal Emergency Resource officer, C/- Angela Hoy, via email ahoy@hindmarsh.vic.gov.au or in hard copy to 92 Nelson street, Nhill.
