Tender Description
Muswellbrook Shire Council seeks a suitably qualified and experienced consultant to investigate the suitability of a site to support a large structure with significant concrete foundations located below a steep embankment of a former coal mining site at Muswellbrook spanning a horizontal length of approx. 240m.
The site will also require roads and driveways at the top and bottom of the embankment to be constructed for access and maintenance, and future low-rise buildings for accommodation and a medium density central multi-purpose building.
The consultant is to propose all methodology as part of their proposal for all geotechnical investigations. The investigations should also provide advice about future earthworks, disposal of spoil and opportunities for reuse of any won material during construction.
