Tender Description
Hinchinbrook Shire Council has secured funding through the Works for Queensland (W4Q) Covid 19 program to carry out a redevelopment of the Dungeness Carpark. Part of this redevelopment is the construction of a Viewing Tower.
Utilising this funding Hinchinbrook Shire Council would like to call upon Tenders for the construction of a viewing tower, as detailed in the tender document.
The Proposed Viewing Tower shall match the existing Viewing Tower at TYTO wetlands, except that some structural changes have been made to comply with the expected wind loading at the new Dungeness Location. These structural changes are as shown on SMCE Dwg Nos S01.0A & S02.0A.
It is anticipated that the successful Tenderer commences inspections and scheduling of works upon awarding of the contract and will have all works completed by no later than 31 May 2021.
