Tender Description
The scope of this Contract is for the supply of all plant, labour / materials and incidentals for carrying out the Design and Construction works as described in the tender documents, and in terms of the General and Special Conditions of Contract.
There are three (3) sections of local road that needs upgrading to 6m and to provide an improved pavement with a design lift of 30 years. Additionally, associated roads culverts and property access points shall be reinstated or added as required.
1. Mangapoua Road RP0 to RP2553 (full length)
2. Ngawhini Road RP5665 to RP6555 and
3. Whenuku Road RP0 to RP1145.
The extent of the Contract Works includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following principal items:
- Topographical Surveys for design purposes
- Geometric and pavement design
- Site Clearing
- Earthworks
- Drainage
- Materials Testing
- Boundary Fencing Works
- Pavement construction and Sealing
- Utility diversions, modifications or additions including easements
- Ancillary works e.g. pavement markings, signs, etc.
- Traffic Services e.g. any associated road closures, diversions, or associated temporary works
- Statutory Approval condition requirements
- Environmental, social, cultural, and heritage features and consideration
- Maintenance Responsibilities
