Tender Description
Tenders are invited for the reconstruction of a retaining wall Sir Robert Menzies Reserve, Malvern. Briefing Session: 29 October 2020. The works in this lump sum contract includes:
- Removal and demolition of the existing retaining wall which incorporates timber crib, timber sleepers, concrete crib and bluestone retaining walls.
- Construction of a 95m long concrete crib wall to be constructed, up to 9m high. The retaining wall is a two tiered wall which merges into one retaining wall approximately half way along.
- Establishment of construction platforms and access ramps. Form and extent to be determined by contractor and approved by a geotechnical engineer.
- Installation of 20 600mm diameter bored piers approximately 7m in depth, 22 900mm diameter bored piers approximately 10m in depth.
