Tender Description
The Department of Education, Skills and Employment seeks 2 experienced UX / product designers to create new and improved online services across a range of employment related programs and channels.
Within the Job Seeker and Online Services team, the successful candidates will work on a combination of tactical improvements to a range of websites, as well as a broader program of work to transform jobactive.gov.au
The ideal candidates should be versatile and proficient across a wide range of user experience practices, including user research, stakeholder engagement, information architecture, interaction design, UI/visual design, prototyping and testing. Showing a strong empathy for end-users and business owners alike, you will help translate high-level requirements and desired business outcomes into design principles, interaction flows and artefacts to deliver innovative and highly usable interfaces.
As part of a young and motivated multi-disciplinary team, the successful candidates will have the opportunity to significantly impact the Australian employment market by designing product improvements and features used by millions of people each year.
